Dating Tips

Having constantly heard—and in most cases experienced—that relationships are complicated, messy time-consuming, etc., has made most people a commitment phobic. But dating, and relationships, by extension, aren’t as scary as they are made out to be. Below are some tips and guidelines on all matters related to dating that will woo your date like nothing else.

First, and the most important, is creating a good first impression. After all, first impression is the last impression, especially if you’ve never met your date before. Lying or inflating the truth is a big no-no. We all want to present ourselves in a good light, and that’s perfectly understandable, but lying is not the solution. This one is more applicable for females: be the date you want to have. You and your date both need to work to make the date successful, it’s not just your date’s responsibility.

Go on a date somewhere you feel comfortable, at least for the first couple of dates; you’re going to be nervous during the initial few meetings, no need to add to your nervousness by going to an unknown place. Lastly, only offer to call again only if you truly intend to call again. Don’t get your date’s hopes up only to squash it later.

And in the end if it doesn’t work out, know that you need to move on.
